Recap of our second Dubai event: Futurama Blockchain Innovators Summit
We were back in Dubai this week for an event that was more of a boutique event. The speaker list was of the highest quality spanning from Brock Pierce, to Miko Matsumura. We also listened to the panel with the blockchain social media giants like Nicholas Merten (DataDash), Michael Gu (Boxmining) and Michael Suppo (Suppoman). What gave it an intimate feel was that it was not a huge monster event so you actually got the chance to really know the attendees very well.
Having @MichaelSuppo @NicholasMerten #ShaswatGupta @boxmining on one stage at @DubaiFuturama talking about the role of traditional and social media in implementing #blockchain technologies - UNREAL! 🔥🚀 #FuturamaBlockchainInnovatorsSummit #Dubai pic.twitter.com/tvvMlmbHJV— 0xcert (@0xcert) May 5, 2018
The general consensus from the attendees and the speakers confirmed what we have been hearing at every event…NFT and security tokens are the new wave.
Jure Zih crushed it with an amazing pitch, to which the feedback was outstanding.
Finally, another bonus of the event being small was we got to network, code for party, in some pretty breathtaking locations. Yes, trips to the desert and a yacht party are included in those locations.
The middle east is certainly a market that is warming heavily to the crypto world, and it is great to see how it is changing week on week.
